Default Number of overwrites allowed?

Is there a limit to the number of times that the pcm can be overwritten or reflashed?
Have my tuner installed and love it! Anxiously awaiting my custom tunes.

There IS, but I honestly can't see anyone reaching whatever it is unless you program the PCM every day.

These solid state eproms are normally good for several thousand write cycles.

There is a thread hiding on here somewhere that discusses that but I cant seem to find it right now. I think it was a huge number like 10,000 or so. The main idea though is that the rest of the truck will wear out before you can overwrite it too many times. And if that isn't correct there are others on here that will know for sure. But I think the dealership is able to read how many times its been reprogrammed.

Some people I know have over 1000 flashes on their pcm's and still going strong.
That's ones for f150's.
