PLEASE HELP!

Finally got my Gryphon in the mail today...plugged it in, everything seems fine...went to the programming menu, got to turning the key off, then on, then...nothing. Error code d2: something about refusing a request...now what? I tried resetting it, etc. but no dice. Any suggestions? Anyone seen this before?

Anytime. The 5 month old ets me up pretty early. Will he need my HEX code to help him out? Thank goodness you're still here this late!

Hex code and serial number are in my details in the user CP. I have to say, it brought a big smile to my face when I opened the box and saw the PHP candy!! LOL!!

Never mind, figured it out myself. Had to erase and relaod all the calibrations and firmware on the unit and that fixed it, even though it said I had the most recent software. Good to go, time to try out that canned level 2!

I can't stop grinning...the truck feels like a hotrod on the canned tow tune! The transmission tweaks alone are worth every penny! Can't wait to get the custom tunes...this is the best thing I've ever done to this truck and I will be sending you as many customers as I can!

I had the same d2 error - could not connect to PCm - finally had to sent back in for replacement - curious to what you did to get in back to normal. The custom tunes are great - totally differnet truck - can't wait till simmer to see how it pulls the boat through the mountains.

See post #7. I hooked it to the computer and used the Pegasus software, went to updates, and used the Gryphon software manager to wipe and reload all the firm and software. Pretty easy, but a shot in the dark when I couldn't figure out what else to do.

That's weird! I know PHP loads the latest firmware into the unit before shipping it. Possibly, this was one time when the daemon that lives in all computers decided to make his presence known? Anyway, I'm glad you got it going, and I guess this is something to remember in case others have the same problem.
