Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled)
Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip.

If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here.

Default Bout to order small ?s

Truck and details are in sig. Not my DD at all and I really don't tow much just occasional car hauler mostly just a big toy.
Question 1. Is there a difference between 100Hp performance and 100hp race, and would I really even get that?
Question 2. Does my trans shift kit/lift and tires require me to get custom tunes?
Question 3. My computer is from a 2003 f350 because my bullydog burnt up my other. Does that require and special ordering?

Thanks for all the help..

1. No. The basic difference is whether you get an "R" or a "P" after the horsepower level. Don't order both. Actually, on most trucks that are limited to about 100 extra rear wheel horsepower, 100 is the top option so it's listed as "Race". However, with a 99.5-03 automatic truck, it's listed as "performance".

2. The shift kit does for sure. The tires...not so much although the standard tunes won't have corrected shift points.

3. How is that 2003 computer working with your 99? Your water in fuel light should be on all the time along with a few other nuisances...... If the "PMT1" listed in your signature is what you are running, it's not a 2003 PCM (it's a 2001).

Maybe its not a 2003 then? #s are 1C3F-12A650-ZB. i ordered it about 6 months ago cause a bully dog burnt my older one up. (Jeep motto-if its broke upgrade it.) I heard that most tunes are better for the PMT1 computers. any truth to that?

1. with the 100hp tune i wasn't going to get both just wanted advice on which to get.

2. i guess that means that i am going with a custom tune, what info do you need beside knowing that i have a shift kit?

3. the new computer is great i can tell that my shift points have changed but i don't think that it shifts much harder than it did with the old comp.

thanks again for the quick response and help can't wait to join the php family soon.
