Onlildude, what Lars is saying is, let the transmission guide you. You want to minimize shifting, But, you also don't want to run at a higher RPM than necessary. If it's shifting in and out of 4th, turn O/D off. If it starts shifting between 2nd and 3rd, move the transmission shift lever down into 2nd.
