Default 03 Ex FICM strategy

I have an 03 excursion that ran awesome, good power and MPG until the FICM went out. I got one from swamps diesel but my ex doesn't run the same at all. This has nothing to do with swamps they were very helpful and I would order from them again. I do not know what strategy the old FICM had but the new one has VXAP2E2 on it. Is this a bad strategy and if so do I need a PCM/TCM rollback as well? How do I find the strategy for the ECM/TCM? I have autoenginuity and a DS predator can one of these get the info. The truck used to avg about 20 mpg and now it is closer to 14-15. Thanks

I don't have all the strategies memorized yet but I'll try to get an answer for you.

I have an 03 Excursion like yours and had the TERRIBLE VXAP2A2. We just rolled it back to VXAM7NY and it runs much better and mileage is up also. Get a hold of PHP and set up a roll back and ficm flash or at least a check of the ficm program to make sure it is right. It is worth every penny and time spent!!
