Default Truck is stalling when switching tunes

Ok, so I just got my FU chip,

The truck runs great in each position but, when I change positions on the fly (taking my foot off the throttle first) the truck stalls 5 out of the 7 times that I tried. It also did this in the driveway with the truck in park and neutral.

I'm betting I need to clean the connection better? could it be anything else?

Did you get more than one strategy code with your FU?

You cannot mix calibration codes. If you have a VRAA6S3 set and a different set, you CANNOT mix them.

I just looked.

Yep, you have VRAA6S3 and VNAAA something.

DO NOT MIX THEM ON THE CHIP. THAT IS YOUR PROBLEM.

I'm dumb, I try to make every mistake only once.

Ok, so I'll take it out and reburn tomorrow.

Is it ok to run, as long as I don't change tunes?

Really do appreciate your help.

Thanks

Do I need to disconect PCM when reburning the chip? I think I should have enough room to remove the chip without removing the pcm.

I plan to disconnect the batteries but I was hoping I didn't have to actually disconnect pcm.

Should be OK to run as long as you don't change tunes from calibration to calibration.

PCM disconnection not needed, battery disconnection not needed. Just be absolutely sure the key is in the off position and preferably that the keys are out of the ignition so there is no chance it could be turned while you are removing or installing the chip. Seeing that you have a Super Duty, as long as you have modded the plastic PCM holder/bracket enough to remove the chip without removing the bracket itself, you can get by without disconnecting the PCM. Just make sure that the chip and switch cable are good and secure so they won't get bumped or pulled out while driving.
