FICM PROGRAMING ?
I received the programmer and found 4 ficm files on it. 2 for 03-04 and 2 for 05-07. Is it possible to use the 03-04 files on an 05 or are the ficms different ? Any benefit to using one over the other?

Yes you can, but you may end up with a U0306 code(soft code- no light) for ficm program incompatabilty. Its a harmless code though.
I like the 03 no IH program myself...for some trucks its a summer/warm weather only program.

Unfortunatley I recieved the response after I had to send the programmer back. I really would like to have tried the other file. How much would it cost to purchase the programmer with the four files installed and would it be possible to switch the files back and fourth as in running one file in the winter and one in the summer ?

There is a REASON that there is an option for 03-04 and 05-07 trucks.
If you have an 03-04 truck, then DO NOT USE the 05-07 programs and vice-versa.

So is post #2 wrong, or am I missing something? Also my intension was to switch between inductive heating in the winter and non inductive heating in the summer.
