Default Tire Size

I have the 35x12.50 R18 Nitto Trail Grapplers. I believe the Revs/mile is 592 so I divided that by 1,609,344. To get 2718.48 I entered 2718 as my TS but the Gryphon is still off my speedo. What should I do?

The Gryphon will NEVER read the same speed as the speedo.

Once the tire size is loaded, just watch the speedometer and find a different parameter to watch on the Gryphon screen.

Clemson, the TS you entered looks pretty close.

What Cody was trying to tell you is that the speedometer in the dash always reads about 2-3 mph higher than it should due to mechanical effects. But, if the Gryphon shows a correct speed (which you can verify by a GPS among other methods), you've set things up correctly and your odometer will be correct.

Now you can use the dash speedo and hold a speed 2 mph above the speed limit and be legal (at highway speeds)! However, the error drops at lower speeds, so in a school zone, don't drive faster than what's posted.

Thanks for the help guys. Ill try to match the gryphon speedo with a GPS or something of sorts to make sure my odometer is correct.
