acceleration: 2wd or 4wd?
Has anyone compared 0-60 or 1/4 times between 4wd and 2wd? Just wondering; newbe here who has never run in 4w high to check. Shouldn't hurt it, should it?

I think 4WD gives you more mechanical losses though, so I doubt if you'd see better performance if you did successfully test on pavement. - Jack

I know a few people who launch in 4wd and say it improves their times...but they are running transmissions built for the abuse.

I have heard that they are better times, but only if you lose traction off the line. The bad thing is you probably shouldn't go that fast with the front wheels engaged. Most shouldn't be engaged about 50mph or so, check out the owners manual to be sure, I forgot what the exact number is for your truck.
