Default Sea Foam

Hey, i just dumped a can of the stuff into my gas tank. Just waiting for the engine to cool so i can put some into the crank case, then i have to wait 100 miles until i change out the oil and can do the final step....creating huge clouds of smoke

i was just wondering if anyone else has used the product before? any reviews about it?

The reason i decided to use it, is because my truck is only getting about 15.5mpg where i used to get 17-18. Bill would an 87perf tune get slightly better gas mileage as compared to a 93perf tune?

Good stuff!
A better one is called "Techron".
Change out your fuel filter also.
Winterized gas blend may be the explination for your loss in mpgs.
Actually a 93 oct performance custom tune does better in mpg than a 87 oct does, but the price difference between the two octanes washes out the gains in some areas of the country.

Ive recently replaced my fuel filter, within 3k miles. You mentioned something about a winter blend? i thought gasoline is the same year round? I live in the low country of sc where we have winter for a week then it stays around 60-70 =)

Winterized blended gas can be found any where it the US during the winter months.
It just depends on the gas station distributers and where they buy the gas.
A lot of southern states don't usually get it supplied to them but if the price is right they will buy it and turn around and sell it.

Unless you have video, I'm not going to buy that story.

I dont know what to say other than you'll have to take my word for it, but maybe I wasn't clear enough. It made the engine run really well. The sea foam didn't save the U joint from going or from the truck almost floating away one night into the gulf because he parked it on the shoreline 5 hours before. ...and you'd have to have a sea foam flood to move that truck now. lol
