I THINK the CS is in the $500's. The CTS (what I want) is in the $600's. :yikes2:

are the new CS really worth that much money because it will be even more once you get the custom tunes.

but besides the big screens what makes then so much more special then the regular evo's or is that it. They are charging 100 or so extra dollars for a big touch screen.

Just like tv's!
Bigger screen=more $$$
Add in the touch feature and reasearch and developement along with the color output and that would be about $100.

Forgot to add that there is an optional backup camera also for about $100-$200.
I think its just for the cts.

Correct - The big screen is needed for the backup camera picture. The camera itself is a "low-light" infra-red sensing one that has a pretty neat locking mount.

Both the CS and the CTS feature "virtual" analog gauge displays, which is good for quick interpretation and I think they can both monitor more PIDs, but I'd have to go look at the Edge webpage to be certain of that.

It IS mostly "eye candy". I'm sure the tunes cannot really be improved much unless more parameters were "tunable".

Oh great. Another teaser. :whistle1:

And the 'impatience' level goes up another notch. :cry-blow:

Not trying to tease...

There is a much greater flexibility in the new platform. It is all script based and features are supposed to be extremely easy to implement. I've got a few preliminary calibrations put together but waiting on the OS to be able to handle the Ford communications. Edge held up the release to get all the '09 stuff in there.

In any event, once they're released we'll be ready to go with custom tunes. :)
