Mine did this this week also. I re-installed my tunes and ran updates in Pegasus and it fixed it.

I think your situation might have been different. I suspect your programmer was at stock. KIRT's isn't.

Here, we may have a problem. If you did not put your truck back to stock before all this happened, I don't think you're going to be able to repair the damage through Pegasus without some "hands on" help from Bill.

There is something corrupt in the software/firmware in your Gryphon itself, and, Pegasus will not alter it unless your truck, and the Gryphon, are at stock. I THINK, Bill is going to have to load a "stock writer" tune into the Gryphon for you to proceed.

Please submit a "trouble ticket".

Edit: I guess there is a lesson to be learned here - Even if you are just updating the splash screens, anytime you connect the Gryphon to Pegasus for the purpose of changing something, it would be prudent to have set the truck's tune back to stock first. Notice I'm talking about activities that "change" the Gryphon here. I'm not including things like a "file" or "data stream" download that do not alter the Gryphon's contents.

And please, KIRT, I'm not saying you did something bad. I would not have thought changing the splash screen would cause difficulties. The good news, of course, is that your truck still runs.

Where have I suggested that before.....:hmmm:

Well over a month and still waiting for a fix. My patience is wearing thin. Going to be doing some towing soon....sure would be nice to switch to custom tow and be able to monitor my temps. I understand that PHP may be extremely busy but I have not even received a courtesy call. Is this kind of service going to be the norm? I am seriously thinking of having my truck reflashed at the dealer and going someplace else for custom performance tunes.... anyone interested in buying a gryphon. :thumbsdwn:

Before I can reset the device, we'll need to accomplish two things:

1) We'll need a copy of the original files from the device so we can restore the ECM back to stock. To do this, connect to Pegasus, go to [Utilities] and then select [Read Critical Files]. This will send your original VID and stock file to our server.

2) Once the stock file has been received, we can build a recovery file to restore your ECM back to stock and then reload your custom tunes.

This procedure is something we generally prefer to do over the phone so everything can be handled at one time. Feel free to e-mail me with a number and time that would be convenient to proceed.

On a side note... Corey handles billing questions and can often handle or redirect support questions. She had, unfortunately, been out of the office quite a bit and there are sometimes delays with responses to e-mails. If you need support you can e-mail either bill or cody at phptune.com and we can help resolve any issues.

Thanks.
