ATTN COREY, BILL or ANYONE WITH PHP
Can someone please let me know where I stand with my custom tunes. I ordered my Gryphon back in September when you guys were at Disney. I was sent a programmer that had a bad pixel driver. A replacement was sent out to me as you guys left for SEMA. I sent back the damaged unit and spoke with Bill to confirm that it had arrived. He informed me at that time (2 1/2 weeks ago) that I would receive me custom tunes the end of that week or early the next. I have yet to receive anything and can not get anyone to answer your phones. I understand Corey is or was sick but can someone please give me an update on when I can expect my tunes to actually arrive.
Thanks. |
Same here, I hope they can come through before christmas....... cant wait for my custom tune too, it's been a month for me and still counting... it'll get there and it's worth the wait they say.

The original OP has a point and only Bill or Corey can answer it? |
Just an FYI but according to their calendar:
http://dygytalworld.ehost-services13...s/calendar.php They are closed most of this week for thanksgiving. They were either going to see family or had family coming in if I remember correctly. And with Corey being sick the better part of this month it may be next week before an answer can get posted. |
Here's the calender link:http://dygytalworld.ehost-services13...11-24&e=41&c=2

No worries, just commenting that he isn't the only one eager for their tunes, and that it'll be worth the wait. even though the wait will seem super long. :drool2:

Have you downloaded Pegasus and connected your Gryphon to the PC to see if, by chance your tune HAS been written?. You'd choose Updates->Targeted Functions to do this. If there's a tune waiting for you, that's how you find it. There HAVE been people in the past who never received the notification that their tunes were ready. It's worth a try. (Make sure you've returned your unit to stock before you take it out of the truck). - Jack |
Will try that. Thank you.

OK, It appears that there are no updates for me. I do see that Bill responded to the two post above mine. Any reason why we can not get communication from PHP???
This is the message that I am getting: Internet error encountered This page can not be displayed click OK and this: Unable to locate a valid Target Instruction File This often occurs during server maintenance or when files on server are being updated This may also be caused by a firewall issue or other internet related probelms please contact power hungry performance for further assistance click OK and this: Unable to locate a Target Instruction file. Process failed Update failed. Please contact your vendor for assistance. Now obviously the problem is contacting PHP is next to impossible. |
All username and device information was lost when the server crashed. Could you please reenter the information so I know where to look?
Thanks. |
Never mind.... fixed it and will get in touch with you shortly.

I don't want to be a pain, but I'm in the same boat as the original poster. Ordered mine the same time and haven't got the custom tunes yet. Just curious how long it takes? The drone from my intake since I put the tuner in with the canned tunes makes me want to shoot it. lol.

All of my information appears to be in my user CP. Is there some where else it needs to be?

Allyn,
I had sent an e-mail early this morning to let you know that your file was ready to download. Nothing like reliable e-mail to make things work smoothly. Anyway, download is up. Let me know if there's anything else. Take care. |
I got the email. Thanks!
I called last night and spoke with Corey. When cruising at about 45mph and under lite accelerator load I have a vibration. I thought I read about that somewhere here and need to know what I can do to fix it. And while I have you here, I was not able to tell last night because of the rain but now today my 93 perf tune seems to be less responsive and less power than the stock tunes. Could these issues be tied together? Thanks. edit: The more I drive the truck, (just got back from an errand) it is a lot slower than the previous canned tunes. Although, I did not notice the vibration this time. |
edit again:
Just drove the truck again and the shuttering/vibration is still there. This time at a lower speed (about 20 mph). Can not get PHP to answer nor return my phone calls from a message that was put in last night. |
You are correct. Email seemed to do the trick. I was able to talk with Bill and explain all of my experiences and he was very informative and understanding. He said that he will get it resolved.
BTW, From one small business owner to the next, I do understand that you guys are busy and and possibly experiencing growing pains. We have had to staff up to accommodate as well as staff down to accommodate and keep our doors open during this economic down turn. I have also had to turn away potential clients in fear that I could not serve them as well as I should be able to. Please do not take the above the wrong way. I am not trying to insinuate that PHP should change their business plan but rather sympathizing with you guys. I know PHP has an awesome product and many satisfied customers like myself. Just a little frustrating when I am not sure why my truck is acting up and what harm it may cause it and what exactly I should do in the mean time. (besides return to stock and who wants to do that?!?! :D ) Keep up the hard work as I am sure you know it will all pay off. And, I apologize for being so persistent. :cursin: I have been told that a lot and it works for me and against me. :cheesy smile: Thanks for your product and all you guys do to make a truck run like it should from the factory! |
same here, can't wait for my tune too, i ordered my tuner about the same time.:drool2: hope everything works out with your discrepancy
