Chris, I'll probably get your order in the computer tomorrow, and it'll go out tomorrow or Tuesday. If UPS doesn't e-mail you the tracking number, give me a shout, and I'll get it to you. :D

Hopefully, Bill will get TONS of customers' tunes done, so the wait won't be too bad for custom tunes ordered this weekend.

How long are you guys estimating? For people that ordered this weekend?

Honestly, I'll have a better idea by, like, Thursday or Friday -- it's totally dependent on how many customers' (that are already waiting) tunes he can get finished this week.

4 MONTHS:yikes2:

Just jokes.

I figured it would be about 5-7 weeks. Am i right. I know you have said in the past 4-6 but with all the orders im sure you have recived i bet its longer.

ccoll5 Sun, February 15th, 2009 08:00 PM

well i'll be happy enough when i get the gryphon itself with the stock tunes lol. that will give me something to play with for a while and when i get the custom tunes it will be like getting an all new toy again :woot:

A customer told me this week, "I guess it's better to have to wait instead of calling and being told that they'd have the tunes ready in a week. We're hoping to be up to somewhere in January by the end of the week.

If you read my email i stressed i was in no hurry. I was just hoping for a ball park figure. Just the thought of having them on the way in the next year tickles me pink:cool:

We'll get 'em to you as soon as we can, but we sure do appreciate your patience! :thankyou:

I sent you an email asking a question. Before you start working on my tunes i would like to talk to bill. I would rather wait and get what i want then rush it.

Is there a way i could talk to bill over the phone before he works on my tunes? I know you said he would be unreachable from the 20th through the 23rd.

Like i said i would rather wait then rush it.

BTW, I haven't opened any e-mails from the weekend, which is why you haven't received a reply but I did see that you sent two. ;)

I left my number on the order form, so whenever he gets extra time he can call me.

By the way.... Is it to late to add a tune or two to my order?

Sweet, that means mine may be ready this week. I am going to try to not get too excited though. Everybody leave Bill alone.

Psst... the canned tunes on the Gryphon are not EXACTLY the same as the Evo. Bill puts his little sumpin-sumpin twist on them. ;)

I bet.

I know i hated returning my edge back to stock. I have to deal with it again for a couple of days tell i get the gryphon. I solde my edge.

Thanks for returning my email.

Hopefully im not being to much of a bear!!

What Corey said. It is a total night and day difference between stock and level 2! I can't wait to try level 3.

I didn't know that! (But, I'll keep it a secret on the f150online forums, unless you want me to say something "subtle"). :)

Yea, me too! But it appears Bill actually "tweaks" the canned tunes that Edge has installed in the unit. Possibly adjustments that take advantage of considerations that were not known or understood completely at Edge when the tunes were originally written.

Is that vague enough? (While still sounding meaningful). :hehe:

It's kind of like our firmware. The Evo doesn't offer datalogging or the metric feature. Ours does. Basically the same product, but just a LITTLE different. ;)

I was under the understanding that the "canned" tunes on the gryphon were the same as the evo....:help: Are they different?

I had to go back and read the whole thread to catch this one. Dont i feal stupid:confused:

Anyways, that makes me even more excited to get this in the mail some time soon:woot:

SOO..... I went back and did a little research and guess what i found.

On the edge site it list their evos for my truck at gains of15 hp and 25 foot pounds of torque.:nonod:

Your site list it as 25 ponys and 40 foot pounds of torque......

Thats enough for my to be blown away:smiley_roll1:

Jackpine Tue, February 17th, 2009 07:03 PM

I THINK, that might be what you can expect with "custom" tunes, not the canned ones (but, I could be wrong).
