Remote FICM programing

I am thinking about getting this done and was wondering what the costs involved would be as I live in Canada.....you can PM me the costs if you like.

cleatus12r Mon, August 30th, 2010 04:15 PM

$30 each way across the border. :sigh:

alwil Mon, August 30th, 2010 04:26 PM

So $460USD or am I missing something.

cleatus12r Mon, August 30th, 2010 04:50 PM

$150 for the FICM reflash.
$50 for the ECM rollback if you choose to do that.
$250 for the refundable deposit
$60 for shipping

$510 total ($460 without the rollback)
Then when we get the programmer back, we'll cut you a check for the $250 deposit.

What are the benefits of an ecm rollback on a tuned truck?
My strat is vxcf5

cleatus12r Tue, August 31st, 2010 03:36 PM

Nothing on a VXCF5.....you're good with that one.

if i decide to keep programmer, is there any benefits to that? is it only good for one use?

It's good for one use unless you call Bill and get more licenses for it, which he can do over the internet so you can do trucks for your buddies. But it's something that Bill or Corey would have to work out with you.

not sure yet. just placed an on-line order a few days ago. there is a waiting list though(for remote reprogramming), so i am hoping it will be worth the wait. from what i have read, it will be....:D

tried talking my better half into taking a road trip to there shop, to have this done in person, it didn`t work. we don`t have passports, plus a babysitter for 4 kids....

Farmer11 Mon, September 27th, 2010 12:19 AM

on my 6speed its VXAM7QR. For autos i think the only change is the Q is a different letter.

Its well worth the wait!! :)
