All I've got right now

Very nice guys....jerod..looks like bfg at's? what size? i got stockers on mine now...but working on some 35's as i write this:yesnod: Johnny...what kind are those...the non stock ones....look nice.
|
Northern, they are 285/65/18 bfg at's. Sometimes I wish I would have went with 305's but I bought them when gas prices were soaring and from previous lifted trucks I knew that 33x12.5's put a dent in the gas mileage. I've enjoyed the tires so far though...they ride nice and aren't loud. They are definately a good compromise between stock and 33x12.5's.

i'm glad you like them, they look great.:cool_beans:
|
Thanks man! I noticed you have a sunroof in your new truck...how do you like it? That is the only thing I would change if I had to go back...I wanted one so bad.

So, they look sexy, but I'm not a fan. I enjoy having it though, even though I don't use it. (Is this stupid or what)? I guess I see it as a sort of "status symbol", but not good for much else. I know there are people who love them and use them (talked to one of these guys yesterday), but they're just a decoration to me. And, Northern SuperCrew, your truck's really purty! Wish mine was white! - Jack |

Although I kind of wish I didn't have one now. Instead I think I would have like to have had that cargo rail system thing-a-ma-jig. Those look pretty neat:thumbsup: |

I've never had a truck with one so I guess that is what draws me to it. I use my rear sliding glass window daily because it's warm here most of the year.

Hmmmm.... Let's see here....
Seems to work from my house. Are you trying to upload a picture that is larger than 640x480? That might be the problem. |
still playing with it and i will figure it out. getting close to finishing all the custom tunes on your desk
|
|
Nice looking truck! How do the mirrors work out for you?
- Jack |
You created a gallery right?
Go to your gallery and view it. On the top it has the option to upload. Click on upload. You can browse your pictures and click on the one you want. Once you have chosen the pics you want click on upload. Sit back and wait. It may take a few minutes. Once they are uploaded the screen will show the pics you uploaded and ask if you want to save changes. Save changes. Then you can view your album and click on the pic you want to display in the thread. Click on the "IMG" bar. Right click and copy. Then paste into the thread. Does this make any sense? |
I see your truck in your gallery but cannot view them from the link you have
Here's mine after yesterdays wash http://dygytalworld.ehost-services13...1&pictureid=41 |
Nice work on the grill and the headlights, johnnyd. Did you paint the heads or did you buy new ones that were black?
Have you considered putting stealth bulbs in for the parking lights? I did on mine and I really like the way it got rid of the "amber" look. I'd like to do something similar with the side marker lights, but that would involve buying new headlight assemblies, and I'm just too cheap to do it. :) I found a honeycomb lower grill that pretty much goes with my King Ranch H-Bar upper grill. Having a grill in that lower opening really fixes the "gaping hole" effect, doesn't it? - Jack |
Alright ,let me give this a shot this is my 05 but currently kinda the wifes now since I sold her car to by the superduty :smiley_roll1:
This is a before pic after a little playing http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/m...5ford001-1.jpg The only casualty that day was the winshield getting scratched from the wipers and dried mud. |
and this is like a week or 2 later after lots and lots of cleaning
The mods on it are 325-60-18 cooper stt's,18x9 Dale Earnhart cannons,2.5in spacer in front, addadeaf in back, custom tuned gryphon,K&N cold air intake, true dual exhaust with flow master 40's and the cats ran away. http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/m...5ford003-2.jpg And one showing my Ford sticker.I love this sticker http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/m.../05ford006.jpg |
My Father-in-laws super duty 8in lift and 36's
http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/m...perduty008.jpg |
I used to go mudding and loved it but I did not like the hours it took afterward to get the truck clean again. Nice truck.
|
Here is one of my last truck.i sold it to get the 05 f150.It had a 6in suspension lift,3in body lift,7,700 series torsion bars, true dual staright pipes with cats, ebay cold air intake, edge programmer, and 38.5in thornbirds.
http://i293.photobucket.com/albums/m...background.jpg I really miss that truck. |
the mirrors where easy to install but the dealerships around here wouldnt help for nothing. they told me that they wouldnt having anything to do with it and would not order them for me. but got all the info from f150.com and for me being an electrician it was simply. man i love them when pulling my camper

I bought those heads off of e-bay, pretty cheap too. I have the Sylvania Silver Star bulbs for the heads but have not switched the amber turns (I should though huh?). Aren't the Stealth bulbs blue? Of course this spring I will be switching the heads out with my brand new oem HD head lights that are sitting in the basement right now. :woohoo: Actually, I have the honeycomb grill in the lower section that I got from www.f150store.com for 28 bucks(it's still on just behind the horizontal grill). Is that were you got yours from? Perfect match and installs with clips in about 4 minutes  |
So I cleaned it Saturday and it stayed clean until Chritmas Eve when it snowed and they salted the roads.. This is after a 7 mile trip.

ya gotta love the salt eh????:mad2: we mix ours up here at 3% salt to sand...just enough to keep the gravel from sticking together. i couldn't imagine straight salt on the road:omg: just wanted to say how good all those painted/HD lenses look. they are a popular mod and they fit any color truck. here's mine painted along with my tails
http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...n/100_0727.jpg http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...n/100_0728.jpg http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...n/100_0722.jpg http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...n/100_0723.jpg http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...n/100_0724.jpg http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...n/100_0726.jpg |
I like salt...........on my mashed potatoes!!!! :hehe:
Those tails look good  I bought two cans of the VHT Nite Shades but have never got around to tinting them. Maybe this summer. |
thanx, i put them in the oven and separated them. the ones on the tailgate are the before shot. i would have gone darker but was worried about light output. that is plain old krylon gloss black in there. i kinda f'ed up the holes where the bulbs go in..left them in the oven a little too long:doh: oh well, nothing a little bit of silicone can't fix.:yesnod:

There are many sources for Stealth bulbs; here's one: http://autolumination.com/3157_3156.htm Look about 3/4 down the page for the 3156 or 3157 Silver Vision bulbs. These are dual- filament Parking/Turn Signal bulbs and they are 3157s. Their prices are good and they ship quickly. I've ordered some LEDs from them and have been happy. I think I MAY have gotten the honeycomb lower grill from f150store. I know it didn't cost much and went on very easily. I don't think I had it installed when I took that picture. Guess I need to retake it, huh? - Jack |

I've really thought long and hard about painting the inside of my heads black. I finally came to the conclusion that with my color truck and the King Ranch trim, I liked the silver better. But, I think black is the way to go on a white or black truck - no question at all! :2thumbs: - Jack |
I am computer illiterate an have no idea how to get pics up , I did manage to get one in my signature{ I think} with the help of my resident 14 year old myspace junkie.......here it is.....:howdy: guess not........back to the drawin board.......
|
this time maybe.........

There may be other, easier ways to do this, but this is what I did to put my truck's picture in my sig. One caution, if you delete the photobucket picture, it goes away in your sig (or any other post that you used it too). Northern Supercrew did this to post the pictures of his truck in this thread. - Jack |

I painted my head lights as well.Pretty easy to do and the actual hd ones cost way too much.I did buy the actual HD tail lights though because my trash can jumped out in front of me when I was backing out of the drive way and it cracked the whole tail light. Here is a pic of my powerstroke .Its only got 2inch pro comp leaf springs in the front and 33's on 16x10 welds but it will have a lot more done including lifting by summer.
