TIP: Switch mounting like a clock
In order to be able to quickly tell which position my chip is on, I oriented it like a clock - turns out that the angle between positions comes out almost exactly right:
Position 1: http://bitecode.net/switch/1.JPG Position 2: http://bitecode.net/switch/2.JPG Position 3: http://bitecode.net/switch/3.JPG Position 4: http://bitecode.net/switch/4.JPG Position 5: http://bitecode.net/switch/5.JPG Position 6: http://bitecode.net/switch/6.JPG |
Very nice. Simple and accurate.

OK, so just to confirm, to get to position 1 on the 6 position chip, i just wind the knob counter clockwise until it will not go any further, and that is position one (1). every click to the right (clockwise) brings it to a new position.
I just wanted to make sure i was using the right settings, and it wasnt the reverse. Thanks from a newb |
