Gotts mod and custom tune

Finished doing the gotts mod intake and I have noticed a difference in the upper RPM, which is what my truck has been needing. Does anyone know if I need to let Bill know about it so he can adjust the custom tune for it? If it makes a difference on stock and on the canned tunes I'm wondering if he needs to know. I havent gotten my custom tune yet so hopefully he hadn't started working it before he left.

From what has been posted in the past there is no need to change or alter a tune for that mod. Only warrants a change by using a commercial air intake.

Yup, but withholding information is not a good idea. Tell him you have the mod. It should not effect your tune, but knowing the whole picture is better than just having half of it.

You need to tell Bill EVERYTHING you have on your truck that is not stock. I have the DWV intake mod on mine and I listed it on the order form just to make certain Bill knows. That way he can make any needed modifications to the tuning.

The Gotts/DWV mod does not require any calibration adjustments since it doesn't affect the Mass Air Meter's ability to accurate measure incoming airflow.

Always best to provide as much information as possible, just in case. Better to have more information than needed than not enough. :thumbs up yellow:
