I may be able to still shmooze a bit and get my way if she knows EXACTLY how much $$$$ we're talking about since all I could give her was a ballpark figure. She's not mad at me...she just has too good of a head on her shoulders and isn't so easily persuaded. :) Maybe I should put her to better use than just a housewife, huh? The story......

I've got the remainder of some mutual funds that were started back in the late 70s. I received my quarterly statement and decided that I need to get the money out....now. :'( I had a lot more in the 3rd quarter of '07 and now I'm down to half of that amount right now. :throwup:

If I don't pull out, I will be down to nothing by the end of the year....I better do something with it!! :evillol:

We'll be happy to help you spend it... er, I mean INVEST it! :1dollar:

The scene couldn't have been any more sweet. We were outside and I was working on the horse trailer because we've got a HUGE 3000 mile round trip to take to Arizona. Reason being that we're taking care of a horse trade for her mother. It turns out that my wife was looking at horses for sale this afternoon and found one that interested her. She was thinking of ways to get the money. Well, I piped up and mentioned the mutual funds and that I would buy it for her. She instantly said that it wasn't fair.....I wanted Minotaur and instead she'd get a horse with my money. So I insisted that it wasn't a big deal and she told me that if she wanted a horse, she'd just use the savings account. She said I could buy Minotaur. :woot:
