Tuning a 5.0

Can it be done with this software?

I own a 90' F-150 that I converted to a mass air setup, and I have a 88' that is mostly stock, both have the 5 ohhhhs and are manuals, and I was wondering if I could play with these as well?

Can they use the 6 position chip?

Yes, the EEC-IV computers can also use a 6-position chip. I talked to Bill a while ago about the possibility of having a definition made for my 91 460/E4OD that I put in my 73 F-100.

He didn't think that would pose too much of an issue. So yes, it can be done.

Are definitions available?

Someone's got to have something and I know that Bill said that he could work with my PCM code.

I have definitions for many of the 5.0L's. What PCM code are you running?

Man its been awhile but I think the "speed density" truck had a LOU code, and the mass air truck I cannot remember. It was suppose to be one from the HO Mustang, it was included with the conversion kit Ford Racing sells.

Buried in snow right now, so I will have to dig it out later and see what it is.

Neither I nor SCT have L0U. I can build some stuff for it pretty easily, but would need the PCM. However, I think it's moot since you're probably using the MAF PCM anyway, right? Let me know what you find on that. If it's a Mustang PCM, it shouldn't be a problem at all.
