different tunes for adrenaline upgrade?

Just upgraded to an adrenaline and not sure if Bill can do some more tweaking with the tunes to get even more out of my truck.I know he spent some time testing the adrenaline out so I figured he found some more power hiding over the old tunes.

I wouldn't go as far to say that there is any "power tweaking" due to the adrenaline....only because there is only so much oil pressure commanded in the programming and going any higher can result in undesirable operation.

The main issue with higher displacement HPO pumps is the base injection pressure regulator map at idle or just off idle conditions. You can end up with a "rolling" idle or choppy idle with a HPOP upgrade and no tuning fixes for IPR duty cycle.

That's probably going to be my next upgrade... would it help to increase the desired ICP and shorten the duty cycle or would the injectors need to be changed first???
I know we kind of discussed this a bit before talking about economy tunes

Cody. At what pressure do you usually see the best running truck in the upper end? I'm just trying to decide if holding around 3000 throughout the RPM band is the best way to go if you're at WOT, or if more or less pressure does better.

The general consensus is that stock injectors like to see 2800-3000 PSI.

Well I guess what I was thinking is maybe he tuned it for my little 15 degree pump w/ 265,000 on it. maybe he asked for way less icp out of it then he normally would because I never got a light for icp pressure and he knew that pump was not up to task.

The Adrenaline won't require any further tuning unless there's an issue with idle stability. That's about the only problem I've found.

Thanks Bill and Corey. The idle is fine a little rougher then before but nothing terrible.Just idles like my dump truck at work now.
