Checking In
Just found this site and thought I might find some help.
I work pipeline and travel all over helping lay new pipeline, natural gas, crude oil and other type of pipeline. I have a early 99 F350 dually, 7.3 Power stroke, AT, 4X4 Crew cab Centurion edition that I pull my 35ft 5er |
Howdy!
Could I borrow some of that pipe? They are putting in a second oil well within 1000 feet of our fence and we aren't in the "pool". :hehe: |

I'm assuming that you're looking for some more pulling power. The question is, "How much do you want to spend?" Simple (and inexpensive) modifications would include: Chips/Programmers Downpipe/Exhaust Cold Air Intake More involved (and more expensive) mods: Modified Injectors Fuel System upgrade High Pressure Oil System Turbo replacement/upgrade All of these have merits and will depend on what you're looking to achieve form the vehicle. If you want a solid tow rig (which I'm guessing is the case) and not looking to spend heaps of cash (which is ALWAYS the case), a chip, intake and exhaust are a really good place to start. The chip will provide a healthy performance increase while the intake and exhaust help the engine breathe better and keep EGTs manageable. I hope this is helpful. |
