Jeff,
There aren't any special changes that were made to your tunes when they shipped. You may need to have the PCM scanned for codes as there isn't anything that I can think of that would cause the CEL to come on immediately on start-up short of insufficiently cleaned PCM contacts or a hard failure of a sensor or something (wierd that it would have happened overnight though).

ok yea im gonna put a scan on it and see what codes it throws.

Just curious, what did the scan say?

burl09 Sun, June 6th, 2010 10:24 PM

havent scanned it yet...i put my scanner on it and its not reading it so i gotta find someone with a different scanner. probably something stupid cuz truck runs fine with no problems at all.

i think my light is on becuase i might of took to much silver coat off the computer since i cant get a scanner to read my truck now. not sure yet tho. anyone ever do this? and anything i could do?

Actually,

I know why your check engine light is on. I made a mistake on your tunes. You have Excursion tunes. I loaded TNAA4N2 programs on the chip when you needed TNAA4S2.

I apologize for that since Bill's computer has them right next to each other in the list and I obviously tagged the wrong one. Tomorrow I will give you an RMA number so you can return the chip to us. I will get it burned with the correct code for your truck. Don't worry about shipping as I will refund it when I ship the chip back (as long as it's ground ;) ).

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Jeff,

Hey man, again, I am so sorry for the inconvenience. Your RMA# is 30724. We'll take care of you ASAP.
