Missing File
 
I went to re-install my programmer and all I'm getting is Missing file "8U7ACF" any help would be great.

Ah - what do you mean "reinstalling your programmer"?

Are you saying it was off of the truck and when you plugged it back in to the OBDII port, you got this message?

Or are you saying you decided to enter a new tune and that's what gave you the problem?

Or perhaps it's something else?

And, what year is your truck. Are you using a Gryphon or an Edge?

Oh, welcome to the forum, by the way. :howdy: I've never heard of the error you're describing, so my questions are aimed at getting information for those who might help you (like Bill).

Sounds like you've got the new 6.4L Recall Update from Ford.

Look here:

[pi][/pi]

Follow the instructions for the install and use the "Gryphon Update Manager" to download the latest updates.

Current Firmware is 3.02.0596
Current Calibration is 1.02.0681

Make sure those are selected from the drop-down boxes on the updates menu.
