i thinkn i Need Gryphon ASAP
i bought my truck in 2007. It had a CAI and dual exhaust. not true dual just a single in and dual out. i just recently replaced it with a new muffler and pipes with a single out. i dont think the previous owner had programmed the truck. Anyway after joining this site a reading up on the forums on how i could be running lean.i need to get a tunner ASAP. could i just by a Gryphon with just the canned tunes and be fine or would it be best to get the custom tunes. its not that i dont want custom tunes its just the money issue..

My understanding is that to fix the lean issue you will need the custom tunes. Canned tunes will be an improvement but you'll still have a lean issue.
I'm sure more of an expert will come along soon enough. |
The canned tunes are calibrated for a stock intake. You will definitely need a custom tune to account for the different airflow from your intake.

Call Bill and discuss what you have and what you want. It's painless - he won't try to sell you anything and, you'll get what you need. - Jack |

You are getting to see how much of a pain in the a$$ those cai(s) are but getting back on track.
When you get your gryphon and still have the cai run it on the tow tune #2 problably be the best until you get the custom tunes. Bill with all his knowledge will do a good job tuning out the droning noise also. |
