Transmission repair.
 
I have to take my 96 f350 to have some small stuff done to the transmission
I was thinking of upgrading my Tq to a triple disc. Will this defect
The tunes that I have.

I'm 100% sure he means "TC" or "torque converter" since its the only part related to his transmission that would be upgraded to a triple disc. A more direct answer related to his tunes would probably be more helpful.

And since you seem to be in such a helpful mood, could you find out the status of my chip I sent back two months ago?

With a 1995-1997 truck, there is no need to have your calibrations rewritten because of a torque converter change. Because the command for the torque converter clutch is carried-out simply by an on/off solenoid valve, not a pulse width duty cycle command like the 1999-2003 Super Duty trucks, there is nothing that can be done in the tuning to accommodate an aftermarket torque converter.
