Too Much Black Smoke

With the Atlas 40 loaded, the truck takes off faster and runs smoother and faster, but lots of black smoke. With the Atlas 80 the truck is even faster and smoother but even more black smoke. Any ideas on how to keep the power but lose the smoking. Thanks!
