I pretty much leave it on 80hp DD, but when I'm passing I usually flip it into 100hp Perf. Not that it won't do fine in 80hp, but might as well flip the chip! 
I will let it idle in stock now that I have the option, seems the HPOP has to work a lot harder when the tunes are on.... you can hear it when you turn the chip on... I just figure at idle it really doesn't matter, but it might help.
