I see your profile lists headers.....

If you are talking about a ping that sounds like an exhaust leak, it could just be a characteristic of the headers....or it's possible that you still have an exhaust leak (which will be more pronounced when the engine is cold) and will have to replace the gaskets between the heads and manifolds.
