PHP will only convert the monochrome programmers for the 04-08 trucks. Anything else has to be a CS/CTS programmer.

You send the monochrome programmer (if you bought it anywhere other than PHP) in to PHP to be converted to a Gryphon. The CS/CTS programmers are not sent in. If you buy a monochrome programmer from PHP, it is already converted, you just have to send in your .hex code once you get the programmer.
