It's probably because avatars do not allow the use of HTML code. They are images only. Try using just the "http://www.fuelly.com/smallsig-us/14380.png" for the avatar image.

yeah I tried that and it said invaild image file... Oh well.
I went for second best and just put some smileys in my sig
