I tow a 20' bass boat long distances and also need to gain some MPG. I am not a young one so the speed and off the line performance need not be there. Just the basics.

If you want custom tuning, then you'll need to go with the Gryphon. If canned tunes will work for you, then the Evolution should meet your needs quite well.
The Evo/Gryphon has a speed advantage over other programmers and can change levels in about 15 seconds where other programs can take 1-2 minutes. The programmer acts as a monitor with up to 4 parameters displayed at a time. The programmer offer diagnostic tool capabilities with the ability to read and clear diagnostic codes.
I don't handle molding the pods so I don't really have any say-so as to what color they are molded in. Edge has decided that there is not enough demand for tan pods to warrant the cost of molding them in tan.
