BTW, in the video you used Scotch-Brite pad but called it Emery Cloth. You probably don't want anyone using actual Emery Cloth to clean the PCM board...
Just an FYI...

Did you actually clean both sides of the PCM while it was still in the case? If so, you did an awesome job! I had to remove the PCM board from the case so I could access both sides of the contacts. Did you use a brass bristle brush to clean off the silicone and then finish up with the Scotch-Brite pad or just clean with pad only?

So.....
Inquiring minds want to know. How do you like the PHP calibrations compared to what you were using previously?
Good to know aboutt he Scotch Brite pad. I think I used Emery cloth the first time.. Cant recall. In the video I didnt not actually clean the connectors. They were already clean from my other chip. I just did it for show. But yes, both sides were cleaned and I did it in the metal case, but with the top and bottom off.

As for my PHP vs Other tunes, the PHP tunes are much more driveable. The throttle is much better, and acceleration feels more... solid. If that makes sense. It feels much stronger when accelerating. Before it accelerated like a car. Now it accelerates like a truck. In a good way. It feels like it has some weight behind it.

So far I have to give the trophy for shifting to the other tuner though. Maybe it will just take time to get used to.

I had a DP 80hp tune installed on my pcm. I didn't like the sensitive throttle. I found myself trying to control the pedal with my toes which got sore . I'm not sure why they do that with their tunes but was pretty annoying to me. I wasted my money on the pcm flash with the 80tow tune. Try 4X4 driving in the mountains with that...lol
DP was my previous tuner. I would like to avoid flaming of any other companies here. I too didnt like the touchy pedal but got used to it. I had a chip with a switch so when I went off road I was able to switch it into stock, because youre right, there was NO off roading in a tune...
