I moved it to my desktop: I click it, the mini control panel open, I click play and it does nothing. ????? I already had Pegasus downloaded ( whether its done right: dont't have a clue), so I open up Pegasus, plug my gryphon and nothing. Isn't my computer supposed to recognize it? It shows connected and the ser # is right. I click update and target something-or-other and it says host something blah, blah not found. I new this was going to happen

Also, I took it to work and tried it and seemed to get a little closer. I remember going through the part about installing the 2 drivers, but this didnt happen on my home computer. Still when I tried to update/ target, it stated Unable to locate a Target Instruction file. It said something about server maint or updating files
The best version of windows to run pegasus on is XP.

If you are using windows vista disable the UAC.

If you are using vista, 64 php is trying to resolve issues with it. Try finding a computer with the other 2 choices.
