Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled)
Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip.

If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here.

Default check engine light

Still love my tunes! But I'm curious about one thing... If I really romp on it in 80 DD or 100 Performance, the check engine light comes on. After I shut it off and restart it, the light is gone. I've only done this about 5 times since I installed the chip, but when it happened today, the truck also idled rough. Almost like it was skipping. I shut it off and restarted and everything was back to normal. I don't have access to a code reader. Just wondered if this has happened before with anyone, and if it may be serious.

Mine does that also & Cody told me it's the HPOP not keeping up with the oil to the injectors. Was told it was not to worry about & my SES goes out a couple miles down the road.

Nothing serious. As CJ pointed out, it's simply due to the HPOP not being able to keep up with demand. The rough idle afterward is usually due to a slow-responding injection pressure regulator (IPR) valve.

Thanks, guys. I kinda thought it was something like that. Just wanted to be sure. It's really amazing how quick 4 tons of steel can be! Hope to get it on the dragstrip one day, and on the dyno to see some real numbers!
