Default New Dash Pod?
Anyone know of a good way to get a replacement dash pod? mine has never fit the truck right it sits crooked, i even tried to heat it up and fix it but to no avail.

Now to make it worse, now that i have the gryphon conversion it barely fits in the pod at all and im worried im going to crack something.

Thoughts?

You can order one from PHP. The new style has a rubber surround that holds the tuner in the pod.

Charlie,

We had another customer with a "deformed" dash pod. Do you have one of the older black plastic pods? If so, the newer gray pod with rubber insert is a much better way to go.

Let me know what you've got and we'll see what we can do for you.

yeah its the black plastic one (actually its painted gray but yeah) ive tried everything including a heat gun to get this thing to fit.

Actually, I'd talk to Edge and see if they can do anything for you. If not, then let me know and we'll fix you up with a new one.

I'm in the same boat, but the circumstances may be a little different in that I'm not the original owner of the Gryphon. I purchased it used but it has the older black pod and, just like yours, it doesn't fit very well. Do you suppose I'll have a problem getting it replaced from Edge? I mean, I guess I could pay for a new one, but they are rather steep.

By the way,off topic, how do you think the Cards will do in the playoffs? I grew up in Centralia, Illinois about 60 miles due east of you and have always been a fan of the Redbirds.
