Default Edge Evolution

Hi,

I bought a Edge Evolution for my 08 f 150 5.4L. I have a CAI and exhaust and I read on a forum that I shouldn't run it on level 3 with a CAI because it will run too lean. I contacted Edge and they sent me to this site. Do I need to upgrade it to a Gryphon or is there something that i can change on the evolution to account for the CAI? How much is the upgrade? Any help would be appreciated.

The known/documented lean issues were primarily associated with 04-05 and some 06s. However, most of the tuners strongly recommend you get a custom tune for most after market intakes with the 5.4L, 3V motors. Which model intake do you have?

As to upgrading your Evo, please read this: http://forum.gopowerhungry.com/faqs-...de-my-evo.html

IMHO, the upgrade is money well spent.
