03 F250 Repeat P0401 DTC
I am a diesel tech at Porterville Ford, I have 4 customers with 03 F250 that keeps setting P0401 codes,[low egr flow] does the FICM or PCM get rolled back to the calibration before the VGT relearn strategy or does both need to be reflashed.

You sure the EGR valve is not sticking from excessive carbon build up?

Most rollbacks are done to the earlier, Non-Inferred EBP, strategies. If necessary, we do offer modified strategies which eliminate the EGR function and DTCs as well. You are not required to reflash the FICM, but that often helps with both performance and economy.

just recent egr and oil cooler cooler replacement,cleaned intake manifold new map sensor , egr valve is clean and passes FORD air management test also swapped air filter boxes from 05 F250 code is setting at 60-64MPH, no exhaust leaks
