Default FICm tunes

Got my tuner today and loaded Hercules for 05+

Question .... Should I run the 05+ for a 2007 or the 03 or 04 strategies?????

Can a mod or a business owner answer this question?

Thx

You can run any one you want to....but you'll get a U306 code if you do. U306 is a soft code(no CEL) that simply states you have a FICM software incompability. It doesnt hurt anything. There is no advantage to running a 03 or 04 FICM File number though.

There were a few things that were better with the new ford FICM programs, but a down side was the MPG went down as ford kept cutting the power back on the trucks with each flash. Bill, combined the best of both programs, the better cold starts from the newer ones with the better mpg and power of the first ones, and then he added some stuff he wont share. the end result was the FICM programs we have avail today. I have them on all the 6.0's in my signature varing from the A40 in the excursion, A80 in the 07, and Hurc in the 06. I love Hurc, damn it runs nice and smooth.

The PCM flashes just kept cutting the power back, and cutting the mpg more and more. The only plus IMHO of the latest PCM programs from ford is the vanes on the turbo sweeping, to keep them form getting stuck on the trucks that idle too much.

Otherwise, some of the org, one ran the best, some had problems, so Bill wont use those, unless a customer requests them on a rollback.
