Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled)
Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip.

If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here.

Default Day 1 with my chip...love it!

I was actually excited to go to work today...well, at lest to drive in. Man, this chip is great!
My truck runs so much better, shifts are great, esp. in the 80 dd. the 100 performance shifts harder than I'm used to, very firm, kinda like it.
Love my Phoenix!
How long until the novelty wears off so I can get an accurate check on mileage gains?

Thanks for a great product and support!

Funny, I was almost as excited to put that cool Power Hungry sticker on my back window! Looks great there.

Awesome!

When the novelty wears off it might be time for a new power adder....

That is great to hear, I was following your posts cause I have pretty much the same banks stuff on my 7.3 Did you just use the plug to delete the trans command? I'm hoping that will work on mine but if I can I think i will just remove it. Gonna put my order in next week & like you the wait will probably kill me ha ha. Just curious where did you put switch?

I used the transcommand bypass plug for now. It works fine, but I think I'll un-install the whole thing one of these days when I feel brave...or take it to the shop that put it in. Maybe I can sell it on E-bay

I mounted the switch on the angled plastic above the fuse panel cover to the right of the steering wheel. Now I'm wishing I had mounted it next to the 4wd switch, think it would have looked better there. I'm sure if I relocate it I can find a plug to fill the hole in the dash.

Filled the tank today, I had 160 miles on this tank on Wed., 277 when I filled up today. Went from 15.1 last time to 16.1 mpg...hope that's an indication of things to come! HAve a short road trip coming up Sunday, 200 miles or so round trip, that should be a good test. Think I'll run it on 100 hp and see what happens...besides smoke and smiles!

What is this transcommand thing you guys are talking about? Is that an aftermarket part you are removing because your putting the PHP chip in? Also I've been looking at these shift kit things for the excursion, would that be a bad idea since I ordered the PHP chip?
