Default Hello from the PNW

I am the owner of a bone stock 2003 7.3, I am here to remedy this situation.

It's actually been a solid truck but like many here I am now wanting more from it. I am using it to pull a toy hauler that ranges from about 7,000lb empty to 10,000 loaded. The truck pulls it fine now but if I could climb the hills a little easier it would be great! I wouldn't mind any improvement in mileage either!

After much reading on other forums the Gryphon CS sounds like the best bet for my needs so here I am. I joined the site because I am interested in all of your opinions or experiences with this programmer as well as intake and exhaust systems. As I get closer to pulling the trigger on all this I will post my questions in the appropriate forums. For now I just wanted to say Hi.

Hey Wood4heat,

I am basically looking in the same boat as you towing a toyhauler in the 7-10k range here in Calif. What tunes are you thinking about.

That will probably be the subject of my next thread but at the moment the tunes I'm interested in are:
65hp tow,
80hp tow,
80hp DD,
100hp performance.

I'm thinking with an empty trailer I'll run the 80hp tow and loaded the 65hp tow. The other tunes seem self explanatory but I still have questions about each of these so we'll see when the time comes.

Welcome I just had the Edge Evo on my 00 7.3 and was impressed with that. I am sure with the custom tunes the grin on your face will be perminate whenever you put your foot down.
