Default Use of the Gryphon

So for 2 days I have been reading threads here and at PHP site about tuners and such, now have just a few basic questions I have not seen answers to. I did also post on F150 Forum but decided since I am going to buy a Gryphon, to post where they are set up.
Truck is 2007 F150, 5.4, XLT with tow package, totally stock except for shocks and Gott modification.
1. With the Gryphon, can one change tunes from one to another using the screen such as from performance to towing just before taking off?
2. When I order it, it comes with three canned tunes, tranny, 87 tow and 93 performance if I have that right. I never use 93 octane, so until custom tunes show up, I would either have to use 93 octane or run 87 with the tow tune?
3. Or can one get a canned 87 tow and a canned 87 performance tune?
4. What does the tranny tune give a person, allow them to do?

The first question is one of most importance, ease of changing. Some days I will just decide to hook either the boat up or the travel trailer and go, so want to be able to easily (just push a button?) just go without resetting things. Used to have a superchip handheld that was a pain as you had to take time to change it.
Thank you in advance.

1. With the Gryphon, can one change tunes from one to another using the screen such as from performance to towing just before taking off? It takes a few minutes, and all the changable settings are saved if you do it right, so all it is is the time to tell it to change, reload the original settings (by selecting 1 option in the menu) then wait for the programmer to program the new settings. for my 05 F-150 it's been as short as 30 seconds, but averages about a minute to load the new tune.
2. When I order it, it comes with three canned tunes, tranny, 87 tow and 93 performance if I have that right. I never use 93 octane, so until custom tunes show up, I would either have to use 93 octane or run 87 with the tow tune? Yes, the 87 tow tune is recommended, it wont get quite the mileage because it runs a little richer, but you wont notice much at all, if any. you could jump to the 93 but you should run a few tanks of it through before loading the program just to make sure the old lower octane gas is all out.
3. Or can one get a canned 87 tow and a canned 87 performance tune? as far as I know, you can only get the 87 tow and the 93 performance, as well as the tranny tune to come canned. but you can for sure order a custom 87 performance, that is what I did.
4. What does the tranny tune give a person, allow them to do? all it does is make the shifting better without changing the engine's settings. I have never used it, and I took it off when I got the custom tunes.

The first question is one of most importance, ease of changing. 1. Ease of changing tunes...
The truck must be OFF>>>NO ENGINE RUNNING....
Then the tunes can be swapped with the key on only no engine run...
Trucks pcm needs to be warm...cold flashing may discharge the battery or have an ill effect on the pcm...in cold conditions the use of a battery tender or running the truck before flashing is preferred..
2. If you want to run 87 octane you'll use either levels 1 tranny or 2 87 canned tow...
3. The canned tunes only come the way they are...
4. Tranny only allows the use of any octane cause only the tranny is adjusted not the engine...
