Question Hello from Greenville, NC

Hi Everyone. Haven't bought a Gryphon yet. Been doing some reading to make sure I understand everything first. Correct me if I'm wrong. Aside from performance gains and hopefully mpg gains, the Gryphon can correct the gear ratio from a larger tire size and its inherited performance loss. Right??? Also, you by the Gryphon and get custom tunes later by way of a computer download. Right??? Looking forward to joining in on the fun and see that I should order in the next few days to take advantage of the $40 off sale. If you have any advise it would be appreciated. I have seen a few Gryphon's for sale on ebay, f150online, etc. but I've about decided to just get my own brand new.

Welcome to the forum!

Lars

BTW
Gryphon can adjust for tire size and gear ratio.

At first you get the gryphon with canned tunes then like you said you get your customs via pegasus after Bill writes them.

You can buy used but the warranty is non transferable.
PHP will still standby its product but then the service will have a price tag.

Just remember custom tunes are done when they are done! So I don't post wait times anymore!

so you agree that's it's probably best in the long run just to buy a new one and avoid any other hassle.

Ordered my Gryphon a few days ago and sent an email to Corey today with a little added information I had left off. Mentioned I had another question or two and would probably call. Well...in just a little while she called ME. Gotta tell ya, she's as nice a person as you would ever want to speak to. Obviously customer service is at the top of their list. They had a lot of orders while they were gone and another bunch since returning. I think their doing a heck of a job and just experiencing some growing pains. He's the only one that can do what he does, how he does it and they can't hire someone even knowledgeable in the field and inject him with a dozen years of know how overnight. With just the 2 of them everyone just needs a little patience. Its a virtue...remember. I hung the phone up satisfied with the information I had received and looking very forward to receiving my own Gryphon, next week or 2 months from now. The outcome will be the same. Worth waiting for.
