Default The Big Bear

Just joined the Forum, based on the Current Economy I decided to keep the 2002 Excursion 7.3 and dump some money in her instead of a new one.

Best vehicle I have ever owned.

Mods for the end of this month,

Bob Riley CPR+ Fuel system
Bob Riley Hypermax Intercooler
Bob Riley New Ford HPOP
Bob Riley OVERDRIVE GEAR HPOP
Bob Riley 203 Thermostat
Snow Stage Three Methanol Injection
Swamps Diesel Injectors 175 cc 30% more flow
Swamps Diesel New Glow Plugs
Magna Flow exhaust
Stage Two AEM Intake Filter
New Garrett 38 Turbo
BD Diesel Intake Valve Covers

and best of all I hope a Tunes system from PHP that will make it work like it should.

Waiting on a response of where to head from here.

Welcome to the forums! Glad to see some more PSD folks joining our little family here.

Sounds like you got all the good bolt-on stuff. Now just need some tuning. What ratio did you go on the Overdrive? Also, what do you have for tuning at this point? Give us a shout if you have any questions.

Take care and have a good weekend.

Default What I have and What I need.

Thanks everyone,

Bill, I plan on using the Overdrive standard unit geared 1.66 to 1.

I currently have a David Lott Six Position Chip for my tunes. I believe it is a Sniper Chip.

I sent a detailed e-mail asking for suggestions of what my next step should be for working with you on my new tunes but have not gotten a e-mail reply back yet. I understand the Business has taken off and you are pulling double duty with other employment.

Sounds like my life. I teach Full time and also I am a Lic General Contractor. Being a Type A person I will also fit in the complete rebuild myself in my FREE TIME.

I just am looking to be pointed in the right direction.

I also currently have the AUTO TAP OBD II Diagnostic Scanner and teach Auto Tech at the High School Level. I am not ASME Certified just a strong Automotive Background however COmputer Engineering and Programing is not another field I have.

Hope to get a reply in my e-mail to your Business---I made it very detailed about what my Excursion has and what I want from it.

Thanks again to all for the replies, I am spending some time researching the forum before asking alot of questions

Default Ellijay Ga

Oh Yea,

One last interesting fact is I grew up and used to live in ELLIJAY, not to far down the road from you Bill.

I still own my house back there and rent it out. It sure would have been easier if I lived back in Ellijay than in San Diego now.

Just an Interesting Note.
