Just make sure when you install the chip that the cable is OUT OF THE WAY OF MOVING FEET/PEDALS!!!!! We just had a customer roast his PCM when his foot got tangled in the cable and it yanked the chip out while the truck was running. Not good, and not cheap.
Other than that, notching the PCM is easy and allows for instant access.  Take care.
