Howdy,
What kind of noise does the turbo make? What you describe sounds like turbo "surge" to me. Loss of boost, power and the turbo makes a strange noise. If you tune it, most times it will get worse. Have you tried down shifting and getting the rpms up and in turn drive the turbine harder?
