Nice headlight swap Jeff. I did that on mine too. If you look back I've only done a few exterior mods since last time a put up a picture. Those would be the KC daylighters and factory aluminum wheel over steel since last time.

Since the divorce seems immenent, I had to get my own powerstroke while surrendering my '01 Super Duty to the ex.

Here's how she looks right now, first day home. 223K miles, auto.

So far I've put two idler pulleys on it (dead bearings), changed all fluids, greased everything, adjusted the IVS switch stop (3/8" of travel before releasing!!!) and made a quickie 5-minute tune for it since the Superchips programmer is going bye-bye (and I now know why I preferred the Evo. that I used to have over the Superchips ).
I remembered why I hate 4.10 gears too.

Nice looking rig Cody. I wouldn't have guessed it had 223k by the looks of it. I was wondering how long that superchips programmer would last when I saw it.

4.10s haven't disappointed me too much, I'm impressed with my mileage and towing ability. Granted, the majority of my driving is around 60mph.

Yeah, it's in surprisingly good mechanical condition. The clearcoat on the hood is coming off, the LR corner of the box has had some body work (see incorrect paint scheme), and the driver's door has a dent. EVERYTHING works though. As for the programmer....it added fuel (and by looking at the programming, that's ALL it did ). It'll get put on craigslist or ebay one day.

It is what it is and after looking at 6 trucks, this one seemed like the best deal. I did have to make a bypass valve for the oil filter housing since the original was long gone.....
