| Phoenix Switch-On-The-Fly Chip (DISCOUNTINUED) (Disabled) Power Hungry no longer sells the Phoenix/TS chip, but if you need custom tuning we can recommend a few really good tuners that will be able to still provide tuning and support for your chip. If you have any other questions or comments about the Phoenix/TS chip, please post it here. |

Ok well that helps me understand a little more about it thanks for the info. I should coming home sometime in August so I will probably be ordering my tunes sometime in June. That give me time to get my gauges ordered and shipped to the house by then also. Thanks for the help!

One other thing, whenever I do end up being able to afford a good hpop setup, would installing it on an engine that is not heavily modded cause any damage? I don't want to go too far with it and realize that I'm pushing more oil pressure than the rest of the engine can handle

You can run the most insane high pressure oil setup you can afford (even with stock injectors) without hurting the engine. Tuning the injection control pressure regulator would be crazy, but it could be done.

I ran my Dual Stealth HPOP's with stock engine and injectors will no issues. The only thing that took time was getting the ICP Duty Cycle dialed in. It would spike pretty high sometimes. This was with Elite's tuning, but I am sure everyone has it pretty much figured now.

so to take "full advantage" of the 140hp setting.. could you run an adrenaline or a modded 17 hpop with stock injectors? also would you require additional tuning to compensate for the new hpop?

Bill told me that the Adrenaline was a drop in mod with no need for new tuning.

As i understand it, yes you can just drop the adrenaline into a stock setup and it will preform great, ur tunes can be set alil higher with the adrenaline, but with stock injectors theres only so much you can push threw. i hit 316hp and 696tq on the 140hp setting
