For the lean issue, it can possibly cause a problem. I have an 05 F150 as well and there could be a problem, especially with all the extra dense air from sea level... but the water in the air might mitigate that haha! , sorry im not a fan of humidity
 , I would do like i was advised and run the tow tune until you get custom tunes, the reason is that the town tune runs a little richer, so it will be better if you are getting a little lean with the CAI. Hope this helps!
