Transcommand, Gryphon
I have a new to me truck, which has a converted edge/gryphon with canned tunes. I noticed I have a Banks transcommand unit on the truck also. Should I be removing this unit, or plugging in the bypass plug with the gryphon tuner?
My problem is if I drive aggressively, the trans shifts in and out of OD, D with the foot feed to the floor? I'm on the 100hp tune btw. Thanks |

I don't know diesels very well, but if I remember right it is better to not have the transcommand when you have a Gryphon with custom tunes installed unless the tunes you have already take into account the transcommand thingy...
I personally would try it without the Banks thingy installed and see if you like the shifting better. |

Just plug in the bypass and you should be good to go. Reversing the wiring damage done by the Transcommand install is a pain in the *** and it's not worth anything in regard to resale.
